Five branches, reliable location information

7 minute read
Illustration of a five-pronged approach: each location is reviewed through its own address, opening hours and reservation information.

Each branch requires an address, operating hours and reservation lines that suit field conditions.

This story refers to an anonymous engagement published by Oura. The analysis, decision matrix, illustrations, and checklist below are editorial implementation guidelines; not copies of client documents or additional unattested results.

Summary of work and evidence

Aspect Publication summary
Sector F&B multi-location
Period 6 months
Initial conditions The business has five outlets in Jabodetabek. Two location profiles showed incorrect closed status, while the website only provided one location page.
Jobs The team reviews business profile ownership and status, aligns addresses and opening hours, then sets up pages per branch. Menu, parking and reservation information is customized. Measurements are separated by location.
Results reported The Oura publication noted two closed statuses that were incorrectly corrected to zero, with five active profiles and branch pages. These results show improved location information; not used as a reservation growth figure.

Central information is often insufficient for five branch experiences

Customers choose branches based on access, operating hours, menu, and reservation process. When a website only contains one location page, differences between outlets are easily lost. The admin then needs to re-answer the questions that could have been provided before the customer left.

This case is more urgent because two location profiles display incorrect closed status. This status needs to be checked on the ownership and condition of the outlet, not just covered by promotions. Information improvement starts from confirming correct operations.

For multi-location businesses, create a data source that can be shared by website admins and business profile managers. Branch managers are still needed to confirm changes in the field. Information that is presentable today can become inconsistent again after holidays, renovations, or schedule changes.

The list of five branches is linked to the address, opening hours and contact details of the selected branch.

Example of sharing central and branch information

Information Sources need to be confirmed How to maintain
Brand identity Business manager Consistent on official channels
Address and access Manager of each outlet Review if location or access changes
Special hours and days Branch operations Update before the change period
Menu and service Operational and commercial Distinguish between uniform and branch-specific
Reservations Owner of the acceptance process Match the CTA to the correct recipient

Don't make all branches look identical if the services are different. At the same time, avoid brand name variations that do not match the business representation. Google's guidelines help review identities, but profile changes follow available procedures and do not guarantee a specific turnaround time.

Pages per branch must have a clear reason

The publication discusses the arrangement of pages per branch for six months. This kind of page is useful when it describes a real location with specific information. Replacing the city name in the same paragraph does not automatically produce a page that is helpful to customers.

For each branch, provide the address, how to reach the location, hours, relevant facilities, and reservation lines. Parking information or special services must be reviewed by the manager. Photos can be helpful if they show actual conditions and their use is permitted.

The homepage or main location page functions as a branch selector. The branch page provides details. Connect the two so customers can compare locations again without opening multiple confusing paths.

Page layout separates reader needs, services, evidence, and action paths.

Clock changes require an update flow that can be followed

Determine who reports changes, who checks, and who updates websites and profiles. Note the start and end times of temporary changes. This helps prevent special hours from remaining displayed after normal operations return.

Check the channels that customers and admins frequently share, not just the main page. Location links in promotional materials or confirmation messages may be left behind. Reservation recipient errors also need to be checked because the general contact may not be directly connected to the selected branch.

Keep version notes when information is updated. Notes don't need to be a complicated system; The important thing is that the team can see the sources, decisions and changes that have been published. This review is a maintenance process, not a claim for a dedicated client portal.

The change brief goes through review and staging before handover.

Read the results of location status improvements

The case source noted two incorrect close statuses were corrected to zero, along with settings for five active profiles and branch pages. This explains the results of information cleanliness in the engagement period. The numbers do not automatically indicate growth in reservations or revenue.

To assess operational benefits, separate requests per branch. Check whether the customer selected the location correctly, whether the admin received the message, and whether schedule changes generate the same inquiry over and over again. Don't merge all branches if the problem only occurs on one outlet.

Examination What is visible Things that need to be separated
Profile status Open or closed information according to review Technical status and real operational hours
Branch page Location details are available to readers Page availability and local ranking
Click reservation The customer tries the contact line Click, message received, and reservation valid
Admin note Selected branches and needs Duplicates, cancellations and schedule changes

Read the data along with the change date. Holidays, campaigns and outlet conditions may influence demand. This summary does not add booking or occupancy figures that do not have complete definitions.

The requirement selection form is forwarded to the recipient, CRM, and analytical records.

Making sure the new page doesn't break the customer's path

After the changes, run the branch selecting scenario on the phone. Make sure the location name and CTA purpose are understandable. Check map links, contacts and confirmation messages separately; one element being correct does not prove the entire path works.

If information moves from one central page to branch pages, review old links and material that admins frequently use. Prepare a brief explanation for the flow change. Maintenance is easier if the division of website tasks and business profiles has been agreed upon.

Periodic testing should cover conditions outside normal hours. For example, how do customers know whether a branch is undergoing renovations or special hours are in effect. Information needs to follow business conditions, not just a content calendar.

Page views and contact paths are reviewed on desktop, tablet, and mobile.

Checklist for multi-location managers

  • Create an inventory of profiles and pages for each real branch.
  • Confirm ownership, status, address and hours with the outlet manager.
  • Determine how to update the custom schedule as well as its end date.
  • Differentiate inquiry recipients by branch if the process requires it.
  • Check old links as well as admin material after page changes.

FAQs

Does every city need a location page?

Location pages need to reflect real operations and useful information. Don't create a page as if there is a branch if the business does not have that location. Choose a structure based on service capabilities and customer needs.

Does two close statuses to zero mean reservations are up?

It cannot be concluded from that number alone. These results indicate improvements in the status of reported information. Valid reservations, cancellations, and revenue need separate operational measurements.

Who should update branch hours?

The branch manager confirmed the field conditions, while the channel owner issued changes after a review. Set the source, validity time, and end date for temporary changes so that channels don't conflict again.

Can branch pages have different menus?

Yes, if operational conditions are different and the information is correct. Explain which ones apply to the entire brand and which ones are branch-specific. Accuracy of information is more important than forcing all pages to be identical.

What needs to be tested after adding a branch page?

Test branch selection, location details, contact purposes, and receipt of inquiries. Also check links from old material as well as views on mobile. Successful loading of the page does not prove that the entire reservation process is running.
